Steve Barnum, an architect, had long wanted to plan a neighborhood with a sense of organization; with planned green spaces for outdoor living and amenities for neighborhood gatherings. When the developers said "let's plan for a lifestyle, like the neighborhoods of the past", he eagerly accepted the challenge. The result is a carefully planned neighborhood with a balance of homesites, amenities, green space, and lakes and parks, working together - the way they used to.
